This 2 km accessible trail designed for people with motor and visual disabilities runs nearly flat along the Levada do Caldeirão Verde esplanade between Queimadas and Pico das Pedras Forest Parks in Santana. The 45-minute walk showcases the transition zone between Madeira's natural Laurissilva forest (UNESCO World Heritage) and exotic introduced species, offering rich biodiversity experiences for all mobility levels. The Casa das Tradições Madeirenses in Queimadas Forest Park retains original Santana architecture with distinctive thatched roofs, providing cultural context alongside nature immersion.
