About This Trail

This 1,200-meter (2,400m round trip) accessible trail specifically designed for people with motor disabilities starts next to the Rabaçal loading chamber on ER105. The levada originates from Ribeira do Juncal, working alongside Levada do Paul to supply water to the Rabaçal loading chamber powering the Calheta hydroelectric plant. The theme 'Um caminho para todos' ('A path for everyone') ensures that individuals with various mobility challenges can experience peaceful nature contact directly along the levada. However, note this trail is currently closed as of the latest official information, so verify status before planning a visit.
