About This Event

Between the 10th and 19th of July, Madeira hosts the Madeira Gastronomic Festival – SAL, a gastronomic event that celebrates the culture and gastronomic heritage of the Region, combining tradition and innovation. This festival is an unmissable opportunity to discover eight gastronomic routes associated with the Madeiran identity. The typical flavors of the island will add memories and knowledge to those who visit us, in an approach of authenticity, sophistication and excellence, enriched with show cooking and live demonstrations. In a short space of time, visitors will be able to embark on a true journey of flavors, exploring the routes of couscous, chicharo, shellfish and molluscs, fish, convent sweets, fruit, tubers and bread.
