About This Event
The fireworks display for New Year's Eve, lasting around eight minutes, is spread across 58 fireworks stations located in the Funchal amphitheater (26 stations), between Pier 8 and Praia Almirante Reis (25 stations), at sea (5 stations) and Porto Santo Island (2 stations). This majestic spectacle of light and color, with pyrotechnic effects that combine a modern design, will present effects never before seen on New Year's Eve in the Region, a spectacle that, in 2006, was recognized internationally, by the Guinness Book of Records, as “The biggest fireworks show in the World”.
