About This Event
The Ethnographic Village represents live various traditions, crafts, gastronomy, folklore and two traditional nativity scenes, promoting Madeiran culture and customs. Two types of traditional nativity scenes are set up: the traditional Madeiran nativity scene, located outside, which will reproduce our humanized and natural landscape, with its vegetation, terraces, valleys, “corgos”, little houses and haystacks, and the ladder nativity scene containing the characteristic elements (boy, fruit arch, cornfields, toaster, among others). You can also find the typical wheat soup and bolo do caco in this space, which will only be sold on a take-away basis.
